Trying to brush up on IT skills is hard and expensive, but I've been trying to push through and learn all I can. I just purchased last week a Cisco 1841 router. The CompactFlash has been removed and the nvram routes to RomMon mode when it boots up. I have flashed the Cisco IOS that I have via TFTPDNLD mode and for some reason it always boots back to RomMon mode. Is there a way to write the Cisco IOS to memory and make it so that it boots the IOS software as opposed to RomMon mode? I'm also going to make a video about this which I will feature on my YouTube channel. Any help would be appericated.
