Ok thanks.I thought maybe you could use on of the extra ports at the end that are not in the 24 port range. Like on the HP Switches. They call them link ports. I just didn't want to use up a port in the 1-24 range for linking to another switch.

Hi.The only change it made was to set an IP address to VLAN1.All the other ports 1 - 24 are unassigned. I thought that you may be able to use one of the ports at the end of the switch for linking it to another switch. Thanks
