I can use the following PowerTool command to clear the SEL for UCS Blades:  Get-UCSBlade | Get-UCSMgmtController | Get-UCSSysdebugMepLog -AdminState clear -force -Confirm:$false   However, what I would like to do is actually use a PowerTool command to view the SEL logs.  Maybe the last 25 lines of the Log.   Anyone have an idea?  Convertto-UCScmdlet isn't giving me anything.  Thanks. ... First, are L1 and L2 both physically connected between the FIs?   Secondly, Did you cannot to the console port of FI-B and configure that FI as part of the cluster?   You could perform an erase config on FI-B and re-configure as part of the cluster via console port. ... View more

I'm assuming the only way to perform this would be to wipe the FIs and then re-configure from scratch, setting up the FI's  with the one I want to be A first.  This is awfully disrupting, any other ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks. ... View more

There are some folks in leadership of our group that are highly concerned with consistency between datacenters and networks.  They want to ensure that Fabric Interconnect "A" in each UCS domain across each network (total of 10 UCS domains) are located at the same orientation and physical rack location.  In other words:  If FI-A is in rack 1 in datacenter 1 and FI-B is in rack 2, then FI-A in datacenter 2 shouldn't be in rack 2 in datacenter 2.  I'd hate to have to physically pull the FIs and swap them to appease the leadership.  I was hoping there would be a way to logically rename the FIs.   thanks. ... That changes the shared system name of the UCS domain, not the name of the UCS FIs.  Example, my domain name is MyUCS.  My FIs are named MyUCS-A and MyUCS-B.   I don't need to change to domain name, I need to swap the FI names.  I need to rename MyUCS-B to MyUCS-A.   Thanks. ... View more

Well apparently, this is a known bug already reported to Cisco.   https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCva14937/?referring_site=bugquickviewredir   This bug was supposed to have been fixed in 3.1(2f).  However, I'm running 3.2(1d) and I'm still experiencing the issue.  Seems they fixed the CD/DVD and the Local Drive issue, but didn't address it with SD Cards.  I'll have to re-open a TAC case on this. ... Actually, it doesn't.  If Lan Boot is first in the boot order it simple keeps booting from LAN and re laying the image on the SD cards.  We want to boot from LAN once, then boot from SD card after the image i deployed. ... View more

We are using stateful a sort of hybrid.  We are useing Auto-deploy to depoy ESX onto the internal SD card.  I guess you could call it statelessly deployed stateful install.  We want it to PXE boot for auto-deploy to deploy the image to the SD card, and from then on, boot from SD card. ... View more
