The output is similar when u run the VM on virtual box however in Fusion you see only 3 Nics the fusion is set as the vbox vm in terms of network adapters and ip addresses

Peter yes the switches do support IGMP snooping. what i meant by my first point was that what happens if a receiver requests a multicast stream when no source is sending traffic on that address If there is no specific algorithm that a switch uses to ...
