We have the same version running but do not have any issues. Does your PAT server IP have a reverse Lookup DNS Record ?

check if the ASDM file is installed in the PIX / ASA. It will be in the flash with the PIX / ASA Boot image.Dir flash: if it is not present install the ASDM by downloading it from the cisco site. YOu may need a cisco login for this
