Hi   two Cisco RV042 connected together via VPN. was working well since they changed the internet provider.   the IP address they are giving me for the WAN is 192.168.100.2 ( they use microwave setup because they are far away from the city ) but the Static public IP is 70.35.XXX.XXX   at first the VPN wasnt connecting because the security was by IP so the 192.168.100.2 in the config file didnt match the 70.35.XXX.XXX which was the reality.   i changed to IP+domain name and it connected. but i can't ping the other side and my IP phone is not working anymore.   what should i do here? is the private ip address in the WAN an issue?   thanks     ... Hey I need to make a port fowarding from the WAN on port 8001 to the internal port 80 to access my phone system admin web-based tool and the port 80 on the WAN is already used for something else. i want to know if i do this would i be able to reach my phone system on port 80 through the web brower remotely by entering PUBLIC IP:8001 is this setup possible?? the IT guy of my customer say's no ... hi here is my setup : I am using the CISCO RV042 router to connect my phone system to a Sip trunk provider router and to extend my Lan segments so the phone system have internet access.i need it this way because i cant put 2 default gateway in my phone system so the cisco Rv042 is the default gateway of the phone system and i use port fowarding of the UDP ports 5060 to point to the system.and i also use protocol binding of these ports to the Wan 1 Phone system connect to a switchport The sip trunk router connect to the Wan 1 My lan is connected to the Wan 2 Everything is working fine exept this intermittent issue : Each hour or so my sip trunk stop working. to make it start working i need to unplug my Wan 2 connection and wait for 1 minute. in my system log i can't see any message regarding this problem any ideas? ...        hi, i am trying to set up this : Connecting the sip trunk provider modem and my network on the rv042 and connect my phone system on it so he can access both my sip trunk and internet connection I have 1 WAN modem from my sip trunk provider connected to the first WAN interface in the RV042.My network is connected to the second WAN interface programmed as a transparent bridge to link both lan segments together however the link between the WAN2 interface and the network seems to go up and down and i cant ping my network gateway from a pc connected to the switchport of the RV042. my sip trunk through the WAN1 interface is working fine tech specs : my network have the ip scheme of 192.168.15.X the gateway is 192.168.15.1 the cisco RV042 ip address is 192.168.15.151 i programmed the WAN2 interface as 192.168.15.152, my phone system .153 all i need is internet access to the phone system for email notification via a SMTP server where am i wrong ? ... hi we are working on a uc540 at the office, and we are trying to configure a sip trunk on the wan port. first question : do we need to configure the wan port with the ip address the sip provider gave us? or an address on the same network ? 2nd question : where are we suposed to use the default gateway of our sip trunk router? exemple : my sip trunk provider gave me the address 172.28.24.57      255.255.255.248    do i need to configure the wan port where my sip trunk is connected to it with the this address? do i need to do something on my voice vlan? i am currently able to receive call but when i pick it up, the call end and if i try to dial out, i get a busy tone thx ...
