Hi I need some help with the ip communicator that i am using from out of the office. I have set up VPN on a cisco SRP router which is connected on the UC560. i am using the cisco VPN client to connect to the VPN and then opening the IP communicator. it is connecting to the UC fine and getting an extension, it also recieves calls and can call externally however when the call connects there is no audio either direction. so you have any idea's, i have already checked the audio network settings and it is on automatically detect and that IP is the one i get when i connect to the VPN. I have gone into the router and enabled ALG settings in NAT. dont know if it helps but tried anyway. Hi I have configured a cisco UC520 with inbound called coming in on FXO port 0 and have configured it as a co-line. I have 4 phones set up on the system including the wireless 7921 phone, the problem is that if i answer the call on the 7921 it does not give me the option to hold or transfer the call however the other phones do (7931). do you have any suggestions? Hi Thanks for the advise. Quick question when you try a vpn it uses a port to try and connect right? can't I just portforward that port to the UC560 so it tries to authenticate there instead of the router? Please let me know if that is possible or would the router just deny the vpn

Hi Darren Thanks for that information, How can you use the FXS port? i have tried the FXO port, i have tried the connection plar settings and changed some settings using the CCA e.g. change the line to blast group, co-line, changing the line from loop start to ground start and nothing is working. Hi I Have recently set up UC560 and the clients have a door buzzer system using BPT IT/200 which works off an analog phone; basicaly if someone presses the buzzer downstairs the analog phone rings and the client can pick it up and speak to the person downstairs and then open the door by pressing 85. I would like to know if it would work if it is pligged into the analogue port on the UC560 (FXO) would it ring all the phones if it was set up as a blast group or co-line, And if there is any configuration I could do to make it work? Hi I have set an UC560 and set the incoming calls as a blast group, then set the incoming calls to go to voicemail if not answered in 16 seconds however if someone leaves a message when noone answers it is not showing on anyones phones or voicemail. the voicemail is the same 399 on all phones and under the blast group settings. Hi Our client has 8 SPA504G Phones connected to 2 SR300-28G which is connected to the UC540 (Version 8.1) Via the expansion port. The problem the client is having is that sometimes the users are unable to transfer phone calls between the phones (the phones are showing as engaged (tone) when trying to transfer), the problem has occurred several times and the only way to solve this was to restart everything (switch, UC, phones) and sometimes connect it back to the UC physically so it gets the configuration and then take it back to where it should be. Are there any patches that solves this problem? Or any suggestions why this is happening? Regards Mahesh
