I assume that by now you have figured something out...Provided that the default gateway is providing DHCP addresses and such, you can simply turn the DHCP function off on the RV120W and plug the gateway into a LAN port on the RV120W. In this scenario...

My understanding is that you need different subnets, one device should be 255.255.255.0 and the other 255.255.255.192 or something like that. I think this will solve your ping issue.For the dns naming in the policy settings...in the IKE policy table...

Personally I gave up. I have all my systems with static DHCP.At the office with a domain controller, I actually transfered a good chunk of the DNS resolution onto the domain controller for the internal systems.

The UDP setting helped my case anyways. There is also rumor of a 'beta' firmware from Cisco that solves several issues with these routers, but you'll have to call Cisco support to get it. I havn't called so I don't have it and thus cannot comment on ...
