I've looked at the preferences.xml file however it doesn't list all of the connection gateways that are shown when I start the client. I must not be finding the correct file. Any ideas?

Correction:"This would be in the monitoring area of the ASA where they could highlight a user and click logout. Is it possible to restrict a user to just this and not allow them to make any other changes to the ASA? "

Same issue here. We migrated from Aventail to Cisco and this worked with Aventail. Cisco told me I was hitting the bug you mentioned. Our only workaround is to have the users install the client manually.
