I am running ASR1004's for NAT only. I want to use both dynamic NAT and PAT. Actually, what I want is a dynamic NAT pool of say 1000 or so addresses that will fall over to a PAT range if the address space in the dynamic NAT translations are exhaust...
I recently performed an NX-OS upgrade on a pair of 5596's running in vPC mode. Due to some lingering spanning-tree in the datacenter, this was a non-ISSU upgrade. We upgraded one switch at a time using the "install all..." command, with the idea th...
I have a dual-homed fabric (Nexus 2248 dual attached to two Nexus 5020's via vPC). On this Nexus 2248 is a server that has a four port LACP etherchannel. The ports do not appear to be load balancing correctly. The output below shows the four ports...

So a little more information...Got more details from the server folks yesterday. The stats I posted above are not a true representation as the port-channel was mostly idle at that time. When it is active the server guys see outbound traffic from th...
Unfortunately NAT is not an option on our Edge-PE devices. Corp policy dictates the use of the firewalls for NAT in this case. Besides, we really do not wish to perform NAT on our PE devices.
