I have the topology as shown in the image above, in which I have configured VPN over an MPLS network, in which the two customer edge routers cannot communicate. Routers R2 and R3 are my provider edge routers and R1, R6 are my customer edge routers....

I actually did this yesterday and it worked just fine. It wouldn't work if I advertised them as /24 though. I thought it was weird but now it works fine!

I wanted to also add one last piece of information that might be relevant. When I display the mpls forwarding-table there are some untagged outgoing interfaces. I don't know why this happens since I believe I have configured it correctly. R2#show mpl...
