Hi Geevarghese, The Webex IM system generates email alert saying the SFTP process is not working. But the firewall logs do not report any access, although I tried using different port. (Of course SFTP access from another client works fine) So, I suppose the cron job is working - otherwise no email laert would be generated, but at the same time no incoming SFTP access attempts observed. Still looking for people having experimented Directory Integration feature on Jabber IM Cloud

Trying to use the Directory Integration settings for Automating user provisioning with Jabber IM Cloud The feature has been activated (New menu Directory Settings), and 5mn cron jobs to access a public SFTP server, but not login from Cisco is logged. Online documentation states that "The SFTP server is hosted by Cisco, which provides access to customers for uploading and downloading CSV files in a secure manner." >> Does that mean a public SFTP server cannot be used? >> Anyone yet experienced this feature? Thanks for any feedback / support

Hi Nick, thanks for your reply. Now I understand the protocol mismatch error... For FXS/SCCP on voice gateways, I see following advantages: 1. customer can control line parameter directly from CUCM (like MGCP), and 2. SRST support (not possible with MGCP, right?) I guess it makes sense to keep SCCP, and had transtation/partition to redirect inbound T38 calls from the rightfax SIP trunk to VGs via H323 (already configured for PSTN).

I have a RightFax connected to a CUCM v6 through a SIP trunk. VGs are configured for T38 with fallback cisco protocol. Some faxes are connected directed on FXS on VG, and controlled by CUCM via STCAPP service protocol. OK: from RightFax --> Fax Rx/Tx to/from PSTN work OK. PROBLEM: from RightFax --> Fax Rx/Tx to/from STCAPP fax cannot negotiate T38 (see attached wireshark trace: not acceptable media) Here is the config: stcapp register capability 0/3/0 both stcapp ccm-group 1 stcapp voice class codec 1 codec preference 1 g711alaw codec preference 2 g711ulaw voice-port 0/3/0 cptone CH timeouts ringing infinity caller-id enable dial-peer voice 415800 pots service stcapp port 0/2/0 dial-peer voice 415801 voip description TEST T38 preference 1 voice-class codec 1 incoming called-number 415800 fax protocol t38 ls-redundancy 0 hs-redundancy 0 fallback cisco no vad WORKAROUND: I managed to send fax by forcing the CUCM to reroute to the VG via H323, by inserting a new route pattern (9.415800 predot) and a creating an additional dial-peer on the VG: dial-peer voice 415802 pots preference 1 destination-pattern 415800 port 0/2/0 --> SUCCESS !! T38 is negotiated correctly --> Does anyone having an idea of what can cause this problem ? --> Does anyone having succeeded in making T38 call to STCAPP controlled fax in a similar set-up ?

Hello Stefano, I just face same problem, but with a 2800 IOS using stcapp feature (same as VG224). By this time, have you found out the problem?

Having 2 kinds of analog lines from different provider: 1. "WORKING" national/international --> the following VG config works well, signaling frequency have been measured to set-up accordingly. NO PROBLEM! voice class custom-cptone EG-Giv dualtone busy frequency 1415 1820 cadence 200 300 200 300 dualtone disconnect frequency 450 cadence 250 250 voice-port 0/1/2 trunk-group AnalogTrunk2-EgyptTelecom-OutInt supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call supervisory answer dualtone no battery-reversal cptone EG connection plar 2761400 impedance complex2 description <REMOVED> station-id number <REMOVED> caller-id enable 2. "NOT WORKING" mobile --> Cannot find a proper configuration, symptom for outgoing AND incoming calls: DIALING STATE --> RINGING STATE --> CONNECT STATE (and call is disconnected) After line measurements, state voltage are the following: Call Cycle in DC voltages On-hook state 48V Ringing state -38V 38 V in 1st ring, then 0V then 38V starting from the second ring onwards Answered state -11V Disconnect state 11V voice-port 0/2/2 trunk-group AnalogTrunk3-EgyptTelecom-OutMob battery-reversal cptone EG connection plar 2761400 impedance complex2 description <REMOVED> station-id number <REMOVED> caller-id enable --> Tested with & without "battery-reversal", but did not help. (IOS version: 124-20.T) Any idea to get it working ??? PS: the line is known to be working as it was primarily connected to TDM PBX

Hi, had the same issue with CCM v6.1, but using an E1 QSIG over an H.323 gateway against a Nortel Meridian problem was solved when checking the "Display IE Delivery" and "Redirecting Number IE Delivery - Outbound" on the GW conf page Hope that helps

used several times BARS this way, including on a production publisher (IP Phones & GW registered on subscriber) without any problems, as long as running on very same SW version and IP address

Have a 0.X route pattern using OverlapSending. Everything works OK for PSTN calls. But when trying to CFwdALL to a PSTN destination is impossible, the diverted number is accepted straight away after 2nd digits.

In addition to previous answer, I found effective to reduce range of supported codec for conference (i.e. G711), and support also G729 (as in the example) for only the transcoder. This allows more sessions to be supported by a single DSP for conferences (max 8). Transcoders will be used automatically (running on other DSP chips) if a conference participant is calling w/ G729.

Mehmet just one more question: voice gateway shows a "isdn overlap-receiving" option on the Serial interface. Do CCM supports overlap receiving, and what advantage can it bring?
