Hello!! I got some doubts about the WLC upgrade. With some differents versions of WLC ( 7.6, 8.0 , 8.1 ) when i finished updating the WLC, something wrong happen with the FLEXCONNECT APS : The access points in FLEXCONNECT MODE does not return to the WLC. We need to turn off the switchport connected to the AP. The LOCAL VLAN in the FLEXCONNECT AP was modified and we need to type all the vlans again. It can happen in just One AP or all of them. Is this normal in a WLC Upgrade where exists FLEXCONNECT configuration??? Exist some kind of procedure to avoid this problems???? Thanks a lot for yout help!!!

Hello. I got a Doubt about the Switch Port in my Cisco Switch to a Appliance of Prime Infrastructure. This port needs to be a Switchport access or a Switchport Trunk? Which is your Recommendation about this? What is the best Practices? Thanks a lot.

Hi. I installed a OVA of CISCO PRIME INFRASTRUCTURE 2.2 in FIPS mode and i need to set H.A with other server of PRIME. Do i need install a certificate to establish the H.A? My country is Mexico? Did i make a mistake when i used FIPS?? Thanks a lot

Hello. When i configure by first time Cisco Prime 2.2 with a license for 300 devices and i made the H.A with other server in the same PRIME VERSION. i did not install a license for H.A and the H.A is working, no problems. But i read in the guide that i need a H.A license if the cisco prime is a new deployment. Can you help me with this doubt?? Thanks a lot for your time

Hello. Could you help me with this doubt? Note The Cisco 1040 Series, 1140 Series, and 1260 Series access points have feature parity with Cisco Wireless Release 8.0. Features introduced in Cisco Wireless Release 8.1 and later are not supported on these access points. I need to know what are this features that are not supported in this version 8.1. Please Thank you a lot!!!

Hello Thomas. I think that the MESH option is only able with a WLC. I could not find the MESH option in my AP 1850.

Hola. Les comparto este pequeño documento de como convertir un AP en modo autónomo o centralizado. En el caso particular de modo centralizado a autónomo utilizamos un comando debug poco conocido pero que nos puede ayudar sin no podemos utilizar el método de botón de reset. Hola que tal. Quiero compartirles esta pequeña guía de como pasar un respaldo en una migración de cisco prime infrastructure en una versión 1.4 a la versión 2.2. Esto ya que no se puede pasar un respaldo de forma directa a esta versión 2.2, es necesario crear una nueva maquina virtual o servidor donde instalar la versión 2.2 y en esta colocar el respaldo que obtuvimos de nuestra anterior versión de cisco prime. Les anexo el documento. Espero les sea de utilidad para sus migraciones. Saludos.

Thanks Rahul. But the problem was the country domain, we got 2 country domains and the cisco AP MESH only work with one country domain. Thanks. Regards

Hi. We used the por11 wuth power injector, tomorrow wi will do that you comment. the MAC address of the AP 1572 is in the WLC. No problem with this. Did you solve this problem with this workarround?? It means that i cant use de power injector to solve this problem? thanks a lot!
