I've been driving the adoption of new products and feature sets for most of his time at Cisco. Currently, he is applying the accumulated experience to Cisco’s new Enterprise NFV solution working on the architecture for Service Chaining, Orchestration and Automation, along with virtualized network functions. Prior to Cisco, I was an experienced Manager at Accenture working for 6 years in Network Architecture and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
Before Accenture, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Illinois Chicago in 1994. Other professional interests are in data analysis, network and services programmability and mobile applications for IoT. He has received certificates in programming with Java and mobile applications using Objective-C and Swift for Apple iOS and working with services automation APIs using Python.

Hello Everyone! I am an Engineer in Technical Marketing responsible for all of the covering all of the components on the Enterprise NFV solution at Cisco. Danilo, Yes the WCM Stnadby needs to be made the primary by CLI command. The loss of the WCM does not impact the peformance of the system so it is not service impacting. Jim

If you are getting MAPI and UMR errors in the event log, there probably is a permissions issue. However, those errors don't reflect the SA problem; they reflect a different permissions issue. Are you getting any errors/warnings from the AvDsGlobalCatalog or AvDSAD in the event log? The SA problem may or may not be a permissions issue. You could try setting all of the AvSaDbConn traces, reproducing the problem and posting the AvCsMgr file here. The traces may or may not lead us to the problem, but it's a start.
