This solved quickly the same issue for me in 11.5, thanks! I disable the auto update method and did it manually, safer due to this bug.

Nothing better, It is hitting this bug CSCvo69307 Same as Unity Connection when it involves CUCM 12.5. If you are running tomcat in multisan, then you have to set the extension OID.2.5.29.17 to Critical: false (I absolutely have no idea how to do it on a Windows CA). However a solution can be signing the tomcat certs individually without SAN at all (even parent domain). I am surprised that this bug causes complete outage of UCCX for the agent, and is only flagged as an Enhancement, with 21 cases attached to it at this time. No procedure on how generating the cert without these constraints, no fix or ES, nothing in the admin or install guide warning for this, that's a shame.

I have exactly the same issue just after re-generating the Tomcat cert of CUCM/IMP (signed with the same CA as before). Then no onw was able to log on to Finesse, with the same error message. As the tomcat certs are not self signed, and coming from the same CA as before, I initiate a restart of UCCX to see what's going on....

If it can helps, I generate CSR on both Unity of the clsuter, but not in MultiSAN, and removing the parent domain (because it's a SAN). Insert then the certs and issue is solved, so basically this is the Workaround 1 referenced on the bugID.

Hi, I raise a case referring to this bug, asking if there is an ES. However, how did you convert your cert to single name? Does it mean that you didn't select MultiSAN, but did instead separate tomcat certs for each hosts? Thanks !

After getting in touch with TAC, a requeue, I finally get an killer engineer who spot in a minute the issue !
These API works as well on UCCX (same port 8443, and not 5001...), however the APIs are not correctly initialized, that's why it is not working.
It must be first issued the URL https://<UCCX_IP>:8443/logcollectionservice/services/DimeGetFileService?wsdl which will return data in the browser.
After that, the URLs for API will work:
https://<UCCX_IP>:8443/perfmonservice2/services/PerfmonService?wsdl
https://<UCCX_IP>:8443/realtimeservice2/services/RISService70?wsdl
It is not documented, neither defect open. So if it can helps.

Hi there,
I am fighting with UCCX 11.5 to access the RISPort and Perfmon api for monitoring purposes.
I wrote python scripts to get status of services, partitions and other detailed stuff for CUCM/IMP/Unity afterplaying a bit with the API documented here: https://developer.cisco.com/docs/sxml/#perfmon-api-reference
Works great, typicall call the services on the host, on ports 8443.
But here is the problem. I wanted to do the same for UCCX and it looks these API are not available, or at least not on port 8443.
So I played around on other potential ports, without success. Of course I checked the related network services were up and running.
I raised a case at the TAC to have their advice on it, which returns me to the Port utilization in UCCX document. It shows that RisPort is on TCP 5001 and Perfmon on port TCP 5002, used for SOAP monitor.
So I grab my Postman, modify my query, but nothing better.
Is anyone having the same concern or had a chance to find out how to do this on UCCX ?

Hi Deepak and thanks a lot for the explanation in this topic.
Quick question regarding Client Configuration Tool in case of HA. I read the documentation and it states that it has to be only done on the UCCX pub, and autoamtically the MSI will be pushed on both servers.
That means the CCT should not be run twice: for each server, but only one time on the pub (correct me if I am wrong)?
After that, does the auto update of the CAD clients requires specific local rights on the computer OS ?

Hi! It looks the tool is not able to load the logs in CSA. I upload Expresway diagnostic logs, it load, but never display them in the "available files" sections. Try with several pc and browser, same issue. Bug? Thanks

well, the SNS just provide a URL on a Multicast file located on the TCS (nsc file). When the users open a live event, the player downolad the nsc file which contain the multicast adress used by the TCS to stream the video, and the video format. In the end, this is the TCS that stream Multicast, the SNS does not stream anything in this case.

Hi Ben, That's what I did: I rename every server for using the a subdomain that the wildcard cert matches, but CWMS still refuses the certs... The strangest thing is that wildcard certs is used for other applications without issue, but Webex no. It still mention the following message: Server domains in certificate belonging to this archive do not match Site URL: webex-user.sub.domain.com and Admin URL: webex-admin.sub.domain.com. Please retry using a different PKCS12 archive. (Where sub.domain.com is my subdomain, and the wildcard cert is based on *.domain.com). Thanks for helping

Hi there, I am trying to do the same. i rebuild a complete CWMS admin and IRP, to the latest version (1.5) with all the Vm using the public domain each time (for the vm admin irp, public name and private name). I upload my certificate wildcard, and it mention that: Server domains in certificate belonging to this archive do not match Site URL and Admin URL. I have for exemple a certificate made on a wildcard like *.domain.com My webex infra is set up using a sub domain, like *.sub.domain.com. Normally, a wildcard certificate on *.domain.com must contain all the subdomains. But webex reject it. Any idea? Thanks.

Hey David, Thanks for your answer, but I was not talking about the countdown delay and iI already try it ;-). Probably it is a TCS behaviour and that's why I will try another streamer than the embedded windows media server in the TCS. In That case, live streaming will be pushed from TCS to wowza and I will confirm if the issue is located in the TCEngine or in the Windows Media Service. Tha's why I asked if in live streaming with wowza, there is a 5/6 sec loss on the begining of the video. I use the wrong word with "delay", because this is a loss of the 5/6 first seconds of the stream with the TCS... I will let you know. Cheers

Hi Hey, I have a question regarding live streaming from wowza to show and share. I have a case using Cisco Telepresence Content Server and Show And Share, for live streaming from a video endpoint. With the base configuration, the Cisco TCS use the local Windows Media Service for streaming in unicast or multicast for show and share. But the problem of Windows media server is that takes around 6 seconds for the publishing point to become up, and when up, it looses this 6 first seconds. So each time you are using a live event on Show And Share, and wait for the beginning, once you receive the streams: you loose the 6 first seconds (the classic "hello and good morning bla bla bla..." if it is a presenter for exemple). My question is: When Wowza receive a live stream (it could be from TCS or anything else), does it streams immediately? I mean, do we have this same behaviour or not? Thanks

Hi Ola, Yes it is possible. have a look over there: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/video/mxe/3500/sw/3_x/3_4/cxs_solution/configuration/guide/CTSconfiguration.pdf The trick is to create on the TCS a publishing point in multicast (duplication of the TCSmulticastTemplate), configure it with your multicast adress, and then configurate the TCS app with multicast (media server configuration/recording aliases and so on). On SnS, same as unicast, the only difference is the URL of the stream. But you have to know that the multicast stream is not coming from the SNS server BUT from the TCS. The SNS server only instruct the client to watch the stream coming from the TCS. Regards,
