Can anyone help with a 1941 router that has no power? I tried different cables and checked the power switch but nothing comes on including the fan. I am also having trouble removing the cover. I took off the 4 screws but it will not slide out of the case.

Ok I am using Teraterm and I followed your directions, the only problem was the load_helper command said unknown command. What is the average transfer time on this? I used the xmodem command from Teraterm.

I have this switch and it appears one of my students have erased the ios. How and where can I download the software?
Is this the correct link https://software.cisco.com/download/home/279963375/type/280805680/release/12.2.55-SE12?i=!pp
When we power on the switch we only get the switch: prompt. I did a dir command and there is no evidence of any config files or vlan files

Hi I am having trouble connecting my pc to a witch using teraterm and a console cable. I am using Windows 7 and have verified the settings in device manager. Currently the switch has a green SYST light but when I open teraterm all I get is a blank screen. I have switched cables but with no luck.
Any suggestions?

Hi Everyone
I have a Cisco switch that when powered on gives me a blank screen in teraterm
What I have tried so far
switched console cables with one that works on another switch
verified correct COM port
used a lap to with serial converter and without on a regular PC using windows 7
check setup with device settings in device manager
Any suggestions?
