I got this problem in the latest Jabber Version 11.6.3 - VM is working on the back end but cisco doesnt have a fix for this yet?.
Seems like a cosmetic bug. Any one knows whats the version of the jabber application will be fixed?.

Yes you can connect a voice gateway towards a CUCM cluster (outside india). Instead of using a VGW, why dont you put a subscriber at your site locally since registration will happen locally rather going through the WAN.

Thanks for the information. I have a site which is in Bangalore and it talks to the US cluster for internal calls through SME by SIP trunk as well I have a local mgcp gateway to talk to PSTN for India calls. Users are on jabber mostly....
