It will take a static route, but won't use it as a "default" route. It just won't see that hop. We've decided to look for another device.Thanks for your assistance! I appreciate it.

Thanks so much for your assistance. My original instinct was to buy another device, but with the economy and a non-returnable device, we felt the need to try everything to make it work. At least now everything should be in place when we get another...

ipconfig on the client shows the WAN address of the Wireless router is the default gateway for the client. I contacted 3Com support and there is no way to feed a different gateway to the clients.
