Unfortunately even downgrading to 126.96.36.199-K9 did not help with this problem on my Cisco access point. In fact, it was far worse so I updated the firmware again to v188.8.131.52. I've gone through all the settings and see nothing that is amiss but based on one recomendation I saw I increased the beacon interval to 350 but it did not help either. I am open to ides before this device decomes a paperweight.

I am using a Cisco DPC3008 modem with Comcast which is on their supported list of modems, and it is outputting nearly 100mbps when connected directly to my laptop but through the RVS4000 v1, it was giving barely 20mbps so I replaced it with an RV325 as I needed more ports anyway. I was disappointed to see no improvement in speed but after a couple weeks, it now does not connect at all. I am not a stranger to routers or networking and after trying everything I could think of I finally put back the RVS4000 but I really need all the ports of the RV325 so can anyone tell me what to do to get it working again? Local routing seems okay (I can access all local devices) but it simply does not connect to the Internet, and nothing was changed between when it was working and when it suddenly wasn't.
At my other home, I am still using a Cisco DPC3008 modem with the RVS4000 v2 and it is also slow as above. I want to replace the RVS4000 with another RV325 but need to get these issues resolved first.

With cable internet and a gigabit modem attached to a Cisco RVS4000 4-Port Gigabit Security Router, my wired speed is over 60mbps which is good and the WAP4410N's WiFi used to connect at around 30mbps. It was not as fast as expected but usable. Now, however, I am lucky if the download speed is over 2mbps and upload is .05mbps which is abysmal! I've read about every posting here, some of which were never answered, and elsewhere but nothing makes any difference at all. When I reconnect my old D-Link Access Point the speeds are much more respectable but, of course, it is the gigabit Cisco unit I need working which is why I bought it. The router has firmware v184.108.40.206 and the access point is using v220.127.116.11. I tried hard-coding the channel to one I know is not being used nearby and just about everything else but cannot find a solution. Most settings are back to default now. The only thing that seemed to help at all was to set the Administrative Port Speed to 100mbs but that rather defeats the purpose of having a gigabit system and is not an acceptable solution. Even with it set to auto-negotiate, it seems to connect at 100mbps so what's with that? Please advise.
