Paul Sergeant has been in the telecom industry for over 20 years, with the last 15 in wireless. At Cisco, he is responsible for marketing Mobile Videoscape, Cisco's innovative end to end solution for optimizing and monetizing video delivered over mobile networks. Paul was previously vice-chair of the WiMAX Forum’s Marketing Working Group. Paul joined Cisco in 2007 when Navini Networks was purchased by Cisco. Previously with Motorola, he was Director of Product Marketing for WiMAX Solutions, and with Airvana, where he was Vice President, Product Management and Marketing for the company’s 3G (CDMA) wireless networks products. Paul’s career in wireless marketing began with Nortel Networks, where as Senior Product Marketing Manager, he pioneered the introduction of CDMA and UMTS cellular solutions into the US and European markets.
Paul was born and educated in the United Kingdom, and holds a bachelor of science degree with honors in Aeronautical Engineering from the City University in London, England. He is also an FAA Certified Flight Instructor, and holds a Commercial pilot's license.
