Hi,The 2851 router has IOS 2800 Software (C2800NM-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(9)T7.Current DRAM is 128MB & Flash is 64MB. Can i install IOS 15.1 verison without upgrading DRAM & flash.regards,Johny

If cost is a concern it would be better to go with 4507R+E with Sup7-E. In fact this combination would give you more per slot bandwidth than 6500. 4507R+E with Sup7-E will give you 48 Gig/slot , nonblocking Gig port while using a 48 port gig module....
