thanks a lot pieterh ! just one question please ! did it necessary to renumber the second switch or can i leave it as g2/0/x , because i read that when i renumber the switch i can lose the existing configuration of the ports already configured !

thanks MHM for responding ! please ignore the portchannel configuration ! the problem that i want these two switches works as Standalone mode , so i want to unstack them and i'm confused with the steps i should do
