I am using a PIX 535 and 3550XL to make a network. The Pix is on IP 10.1.5.1 255.255.255.248 The 3550XL has Gi0/11 on 10.1.5.4 255.255.255.248 and Gi0/1 on a vlan on 10.1.5.9 255.255.255.248 I made a static route on the PIX using route intf2 10.1.5....

host can now ping 10.1.5.73, 10.1.5.2 and 10.1.5.1 12G can ping 10.1.5.9 but not hosts on 10.1.5.10

update The host is pinging 1 in 4 at 10.1.5.73 and same for 10.1.5.2 but pings 10.1.5.1 The 12G is pinging 1 or 2 in 5 at the vlan on 10.1.5.9 and the host on 10.1.5.10 The 12T can ping everything the PIX cant ping the vlans or hosts

Found the solution. The 3550XL need a route to the PIX gateway. Everything pings now
