when you have consumer and provider in 2 tenants, you have a contract in Provider tenant and export contact to consumer tenant and apply to consumer EPG as consumer contract interface. Service graph goes to Contact.

again , number of leafs is not relevant and has nothing to do with number of AAEPs / domains/ pools. IPN inter-pod and ISN inter-site network for multi-pod / multi-site
