Hi,
I have a 827-4V with 30 (thirty) dial-peer (pots and voip) configured. When I try to configure one more, I receive this message:
router(config)#dial-peer voice 1234 voip
ERROR: could not add peer
router(config)#
There are some limitation to this? How can I clear up this?
thanks.

Yes, you do need to upgrade the router memory for this.

This problem occurs when you do not have enough processor memory in the Router. You can check the memory usage using the command " show memory summary" . If the processor memory usage is more than 80% then you may not be able to add any more dial peers. Try reloading the router and then add the dial peer . If it works, its fine. Else you need to upgrade the router memory.

Hi,
The memory router seems not enough.
cal-ctl-827#sh memory summary
Head Total(b) Used(b) Free(b) Lowest(b) Largest(b)
Processor 80FCF9FC 7538180 6741292 796888 792256 86052
I/O 1700000 1048644 684288 364356 364356 363776
I've reloaded the router, but it doesn't work.
This occurs why the router is "weak", or there are something that I can do, else upgrade the router memory?
