as5400 <-> asterisk one-way voice issue

I’ve setup my AS5400 to send calls via h323 and SIP to some VOIP provider properly. It’s working ok, no issues. I can hear and talk fine

I took it further and setup an asterisk to send SIP calls to my AS5400. I’m facing one way issue with this setup (PSTN<->AS5400<->asterisk<->ip phone). I can hear the other end behind asterisk fine, but they can’t hear me.

my asterisk is behind a router - but I have set it on DMZ, so it should be fine. All the IP phones are in local LAN with asterisk.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a routing issue. Make sure that the asterisk box can route packets to the AS5400 and vice versa. Can you ping between them?

Did u checked the codec? Possibly it could have some problem. I guess this one way issues will be more dependant on codec that we are using.

Thanks

Bala.
