Hello All,
I 'm currently implementing voip to my Frame\Atm Network.
The specific problem occurs when dialing a Frame remote from
the Atm headend router there is a loud beep just before call connects
i'm using virtual templates with mlppp and rtp header compression
my codec type is 729gr8, QOs is LLQ, voice is on it's own pvc at both
the headend 3662(Atm) and at the remote 3640 (Frame Relay)
Any ideas?
Kevin

There are a number of instances which I have heard in which the users are getting a hitch pitched beep while hadshakinig. This could be due to some issue with the E1 carrier interroute. This can be overcome by either moving the E1 to another port or by removing and re-inserting the E1 tin the same port again. But, there will not be any call failure due to this issue.

Beth,
Thanks for the tip, i will definately try your suggestion, i did not mention
this earlier but i'm running brand new code 12.2.(16.1)T, i moved to that version to overcome some quality issues during call handshake, it was an underwater type distortion, this current issue is very specfic, it only occurs
from Frame to Atm, not Frame to Frame.
Thanks
Kevin
