Hey guys,
Does anybody knows what the cause for channels block for clearfwd?
I believe that all configuration applied on this voice gateway was okay, because I have many others users with the same configuration.
These channels are not more available for use. I contact the local PSTN to check this reason and them reports that it is my equipment problem.

I realized that the channels are not blocked in the "clearfwd" anymore, however, they keep busy (in a wrong way) at the service provider, so, when I try to make a call by this channel, I got busy tone.
Problem is that it keep busy in the provider forever, and after a while (about 5-6 hours) all my channels are inactive.

Hi dsobrinho,
We've made some changes and no channels were blocked on the last 48 hour.

During our monitoring, we realized that after applying this config "timeouts call-disconect 3" on the voice-port has solved our problem.
Service provider has made some monitoring using their protocol analyzer and they said it's working as expected.
I'll wait until monday to consider it solved, and let you know about it.

Leandro

I had this problem in my gateway with IOS version 12.4(xx)T. I upgraded it to version 15.1(x)M and the gateway is working fine.
Workaround: you can use the commands "ds0 busyout 1-16,17-31 soft" and "no ds0 busyout 1-16,17-31 soft" under the controller configuration in order to release the stuck channels.

Additional information: This problem is related to bug CSCtd74470 (E1 R2 configured voice port, intermittently stuck in clearfwd state).

Dear all,
I do have this problem under a 3825 connected to Telefonica by R2.
I've upgraded the IOS to a 12.4(15)T15 version which should be already fixed.
Teddy, can you give us the IOS that solve your case?
Regards,
Leandro

Still get the same error.
Provider tell me that I'm not sending a disconnect, so they keep the channel on busy, but the router release it.
Next call on the same channel, I got busy.

Hi Leandro,
Please send the configuration applied on E1 R2 and the command string "show voice port summary".
Some PSTN use another standard in R2 Digital.

hi Leandro,
Did you check with PSTN if the E1 is r2-compelled ani ou r2-semi-compelled ?
What type of technology involved in the PSTN side (NORTEL, HUAWEI,SIMIENS, ALACATEL).
And please don't forget to send me the output "show voice port summy"
Best regards
dsobrinho

Hi dsobrinho,
It's r2-compelled.
Follow the command you've asked, but now, the problem is already solved according my last post.
