Call Manager Express on a 2801

Im new to cme and need help

I just picked up a Cisco 2801 yesterday and want to get a little understanding about the PVDM cards.

I would like to setup CME on it and run a small test lab but Im not sure what the requirement for CME do I need a PVDM??? and if so what is a cheap PVDM that will do the trick?

I will need to get the CME IOS and PVDM correct?

You will need the IOS with CME capabilities. The PVDM you need will depend on the voice interfaces you have - T1/E1, FXO, etc. You can use the DSP calculator to calculate the number of DSPs required for your configuration.
