Call Manager Gatekeeper Controller Trunk Intermitent

We have CM 4.2(3) and a remote gatekeeper to register trunks. They register OK and conversations flow.

Becasue of network latency sometimes the Call Manager losses connectivity 1-2 seconds (2-3 ping) to the Gatekeeper, then at CM App event log we get a transient connection error indicating that trunk suddenly unregistered (code 6 device 125) and are not able to receving or make calls for a while.

Should we set up the RRQ: Registration Request Time to Live higher to allow this latency at the CM or should we set it at the Gatekeeper itself?

All that it will take for a cm to unregister to the gk is one lost RRQ packet from the CM. If there is no response to the RRQ then CM will no longer send RRQ, thus it will unregister

Try Synchronising the clocking between CallManager and the gatekeeper, could you provide the debugs : debug h225 asn1,

debug ras.
