Cisco ASxxxx Translation rule and Restricted calling number

Dear all

I am using Cisco AS5xxx as the media gateway to carry voip calls from IP to PSTN. When checking the accounting logs i see some calls with Calling-Station-ID is "Restricted" . And then the PSTN network drop these calls.

How can i solve this problem ?. Im not sure that my Carrier send me the Restricted calling number or they send calls without calling number and then my gateway set it to Restricted.

If my carrier send me a Restricted calling number, how will i be able to translate it using translation rule ?

Hi Ha Dao,

You can use the below translation rule and profile which will manipulate any type of calling number to International. If you want to be national, you can change the rule accordingly.

The profile has to be associated with either on the incoming or outgoing dial-plan based on your traffic.

voice translation-rule 120

rule 1 // // type any international

voice translation-profile manipulation

translate calling 120
