i have a pri circuit that contains the number NNX-XXX-7599.

i configured the pri , dial-peers.

the 7599 number is my meeting place 8106 server, registered to gatekeeper on the same router (3745) as the pri.

i am getting secondary dialtone.

when i dial the number from the co i get dial tone and have to enter hte last 4 digits again then the call connects

a cisco white paper says to add direct-inward-dial. this command is not available with dial-peer voice voip.

how can i get this number to connect directly through.

thanks for any help

Can you post your full confgiuration

HI

I have a combination of MGCP and H.323 trunks

the trunk i am working with is 2/0

here is the config

thanks for any ideas

attached is the config

Hi

You need to add a "POTS" dial-peer for the 2/0:23 Voice port matching somthing like this

dial-peer voice 455 pots

incoming called-num 7599 ! for example

direct-inward-direct

port 2/0:23

Not sure that will work.

the 7599 number is coming in on 2/0:23 and needs to point to RAS the gatekeeper.

but i will give it a try.

thanks
