DSP Timeout Message

I have a Call Manager 6.1.3 cluster w/numerous branch sites connected. These sites are WAN connected via MPLS links, each site has it's own MGCP voice gateway with a PRI and local trunks to provide services to that site. I have loaded up these gateways with DSP's to provide conference and transcoding resources so that the sites are not going after these resources across the WAN. The other day one of the users was on a PSTN call and they got a message on their phone "DSP timeout" there was dead air on their call and then as quickly as it happened the call came back and they were able to finish the call. I have looked at the gateway (2851 ver.12.4 (15)T3), no error messages. Any ideas.

The "DSP Timeout" displayed on the phone should be related to problems on the phone's DSP (and not on the VoIP Gateway's DSP).

It can be a phone firmware bug or phone hardware problem.
