E1 Problem - Urgent Help required!!!

Hi,

I`m getting the following error on my router when i do a sh controller - the card in the PBX is showing out of service - could this be cisco or pbx related???Thanks

E1 5/0 is down.

Applique type is Channelized E1 - balanced

Description: **** Meridian PRI-loop 31 DCH33 Acod 1622 ****

Far End Block Errors Detected

Receiver has loss of signal.

alarm-trigger is not set

Version info Firmware: 20020306, FPGA: 11

Framing is CRC4, Line Code is HDB3, Clock Source is Line Primary.

Further to the message above, the sh ver returns this?

System returned to ROM by error - an Illegal Opcode exception, PC 0x62B10010 at

07:46:10 BST Thu Jul 7 2005

yuk...see if there is a crash file in flash or bootflash. If reboting it did not fix the issue, suspect bad memory first - if you are back up, setup to dump a crashfile.

It's not plugged into anything -

Receiver has loss of signal.

You might need a E1 cross over cable using these pinouts to connect the PBX TX/RX to the router RX/TX -

1 ----- 4

2 ----- 5

4 ----- 1

5 ----- 2
