Hi All,

My GW5350 is running System image file "flash:c5350-is-mz.122-2.XB7.bin"

I have connected back2-back to a Vocaltec gateway, my test calls are good quality with short PDD, with my controller default clock source line.

However for testing purpose, I cannot find command to change clock source, even cannot issue command

Router(config-controller)#clock souce line primary

As reommended in Cisco document.

Please advise me how to change clock source for the controller E1 in Cicso GW5350.

Thanks.

Kieu.

Hi Kieu,

what is the error do you get?

Also there is a typo error "source" in the command you have copied.

Thanks

Arun

Hello Arun,

Thanks for ur quick response, I cannot change the clock source for the controller when trying to connect back-to-back with Vocaltec gateway, here is the error:

HAN-5350(config)#controller e1 3/0

HAN-5350(config-controller)#clock source line primary

^

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

HAN-5350(config-controller)

Thanks,

Kieu

Hi,

in as5350/5400s setting the clock source is different. In global config, use the command "tdm clock priority Z x/y", where Z is from 1-99, and x/y the slot/port combination of the E1 controller.

Y.

Hi Fouraki,

My gateway 5350 doesn't recognize that command.

HAN-5350(config)#tdm?

% Unrecognized command

HAN-5350(config)#tdm

sorry, try dial-tdm-clock command
