mixing phones

I am trying to use 7900 series phones with 12sp+ phones. I get an error saying that there is no MTP resources available. Is there a fix for this without investing in other hardware? The phones work internal to the call manager, but calling phones in another call manager get that error on the 12sp+. I believe it is trying the call at g.729 and not at g.711.

the 7900 series uses g711 and g729 while the 12sp +uses g711 and g723

If it is possible set all callmanagers to use g711 in all locations, then they will work.

otherwise depending on which routers you have, you can setup dspfarms on the routers to do the transcoding.
