Hi, We have a PRI line with telco, it used to work fine, suddenly outbound calls can not completed, debug isdn q931 shows that telco is not accepting our calls with cause i=0x80B6 -- incoming calls are barred, any suggestions?

Hi

As per the debug output, your Called Party Number - Type is "unknown".  Thsy the Telco is rejecting your call.  So try to terminate the call with called party as National / International as per your called number type.

Called Party Number i = 0x80, '16502080523'
                Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
*Jan 27 05:41:30.705: ISDN Se0/0/1:23 Q931: RX <- RELEASE_COMP pd = 8  callref = 0x8114
        Cause i = 0x80B6 - Incoming calls are barred

Thanks. Pl rate useful info.

Hi, Thank you for your time, the phone is registering with CUCM, this is a H323 gateway, we actually have two PRI lines on this gateway, I had to set H323 gateway's called number type/plan on CUCM to unknown/unknown to make the other PRI line happy.

Hi

On the H.323 Gateway, you can change the Called Number type from "unknown" to "National/International" as per your number type..

Here's an example.

voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 // // type unknown international

voice translation-profile typeinternational
translate called 1

dial-peer voice 5 pots
destination-pattern
translation-profile outgoing typeinternational

Thanks. Pl rate if the info is helpful.

On your h323 gateway, try specifying the appropriate isdn plan type in the pri seria interface.

Thanks guys, I tried all combinations of unkown/isdn/national/international on the dial-peer, I still get the error from this provider. I will open a TAC case.

Any luck with TAC getting this resolved? I am running into it on anupgrade andit is holding me up.
