Hi

I have the below setup

CCM--- Switch--- customers Router ----IPLC circuit ---ISP Router -----Output as ethernet to the customer location .

When i install two soft phones between the two locations , without any additional configuration voice is distorted totally .

Soft PHones are present in both the network and US end soft phones are registered to the India CCM. to get a good voice quality is it enough if i implement qos on the India end router alone. Or is there any other better way since at US end customer will get out put from the local ISP as ethernet only & no configurations can be done at US end ISP side

Hi,

When you implement QoS, it should be done on both side.

Is the link between the two sites a private link or the internet?

If it is the internet, then there is no QoS control at all.
