VIOP e1/t1 card into 7200...need urgent reply....

Guys

I've seen a few things about 7200's with NPE-100/200 incompatible with 2port t1/e1 voicecard......I've been surfing around but without any real answers...we have got the right ios etc...but haven't seen anything on field notices....

please see sh diag/sh ver for a PA-VXB-2TE1+= installed into a 7204...

running c7200-is-mz.121-14.bin, can anyone explain why the card is not active? should be hotswap?

cisco 7204 (NPE200) processor (revision B) with 57344K/8192K bytes of memory.

Processor board ID 8521927

R5000 CPU at 200Mhz, Implementation 35, Rev 2.1, 512KB L2 Cache

4 slot midplane, Version 1.0

The ios that you have 12.1.14 dosen't support that PA on 7200.

You need to have 12.2.1 and above image to support that PA.

Pl. visit Hardware software compatibility Matrix at below url to track the min image support for that PA

Will give that a go...i've used the advisor already, was told to use a minimum 12.1.2??

Can use 12.2.1 or 12.2.2

Maybe i'm misreading something....I'll let you know

Right it's sorted out....thanks for your help....we are using 12.2.1

What does the T signify after the ios code?

i.e 12.1.2T ?
