I am trying to set up an ATA 190 to use my Panasonic analogue phone via my router. I have followed the instructions but the phone line LED on the ATA doesn't light up unless I pick up the phone to try and find a dialling tone in which case the phone LED flashes. There is no tone and I can't make a call. When I initially connected the phone to ATA, its screen displayed to 'Check Phone Line', however after a short while the display normalised as if it had found a line. I have not gone through any sort of registration/configuration process as none of the documentation that came with the ATA suggests this needs to be done this although I do find reference to this online. Our needs are very simple and we just need one analogue phone to function through the ATA/router as we have been moved onto a VOIP system and no longer have an analogue line.
