Hi guys,

I've got a little problem here. My auto-attendant couldn't run in my UC500.

Here I give you a little command I took from my UC500:

dial-peer voice 2003 voip

description ** cue auto attendant PSTN number **

translation-profile outgoing AA_Profile

destination-pattern 57973199$

b2bua

voice-class sip outbound-proxy  ipv4:10.1.10.1

session protocol sipv2

session target ipv4:10.1.10.1

dtmf-relay sip-notify

codec g711ulaw

no vad

Please let me know if you need any more command from my UC.

Regards,

Denny

Check CUE configuration.

Hello Denny,

Do you know if the CUE is online?

Please check this first.

If you are using CCA Troubleshoot->CUE diagnostics -> CUE Connectivity Diagnostics.

If CLI -> try to login to the CUE console. Also try:

service-module integrated-Service-Engine 0/0 status

Is your voicemail working?

Best regards,

Alex

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your reply. Do you mean CUE = CME ?? because I'm a beginner in voice configuration . I'll check the interface In0/0 status first, because I don't know whether the voicemail is working or not. I just try to replace the old uc520 with the new uc500 series, but the problem arise. I'll update to you soon.

Regards,

Denny

updated,

There is no information in service-module integrated-Service-Engine 0/0 status.

I think this is the part of voicemail configuration (CMIIW)

dial-peer voice 2000 voip

description ** cue voicemail pilot number **

destination-pattern 221

b2bua

session protocol sipv2

session target ipv4:10.1.10.1

dtmf-relay sip-notify

codec g711ulaw

no vad

If I telnet the UC via CME, the user interface looks so simple, very2 different with the old one.

Actually, I don't care with the voicemail, but I just care with the auto attendant. Because the ip phone cannot be dialled from outside using its direct line, but can be dialled from inside.

I really appreciate if you can give me another advice for this one.

Regards,

Denny

Hello Denny,

CUE is the voicemail and AA module. CME is the telephony - part of the IOS.

You may go to the webgui of the CUE usually on 10.1.10.1 or use the CCA - GUI for UC500. There you should check if you have the settings for the AA.

What you have pointed from the config is the dial-peer to AA and the voicemail pilot.

Please have in mind that there is a policy for CLI support of the UC540 and 560 that if you are not entitled for CLI support and you have configured the UC you might be denied support with SBSC.

HTH,

Alex

Hi Alex,

Sorry for the late response. Right now I'm in the middle of using CCA for UC500. But when I click on the tab call-handling --> Auto Attendant, there is a paramter said "java lang error". I clicked OK and then I'm still waiting the device from reading the AA parameter (It's been 12 minutes, but the device still reading the AA parameter.

Here I give you the screenshoot I took from the CCA.

Can you help me ??

NB : I'm using CCA 3.0

Regards,

Denny

Hello Denny,

Please update the CCA to 3.2.2 which is the current one.

If you still experience the same issue with Java try with another PC could be something from the setting on the PC.

HTH,

Alex

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it's working now with the CCA 3.2.2 . Right now, I already change the default AA extension (601) with the new one. But, when I tried to add a new prompt, it always stuck (marked with the hourglass pointer). Can you tell me the easiest way to add the prompt ??

Btw, I already rate your answer as very helpful post .

Regards,

Denny
