Business Edition 6000 with VMWare 5.0.0, 623860

We recently installed a BE6K with the VMWare version 5.0.0, 623860.  During our configuration testing we realized that the VMWare was not restarting the virtual machines automatically.  They were configured originally to start within 2 minutes of the VMWare startup but did not start automatically after a power loss test.  After some google searching it appears this is a bug in this specific release of the VMWare.  One of the possible solution was to downgrade the VMWare version but I'm not sure that should be done on the BE6K. 

Has anyone else come across this?  Is there a recommendation from Cisco regarding this issue that I have been unable to locate?

If you purchased VMWare and associated support from Cisco (very likely this is the case with BE6000), please open a case with the Cisco Technical Assistance Center to start working through this issue.  If you have any problems with that process, please reply here with the case number.  Thank you.

I did just that this morning. And was pointed to the following blog page and have downloaded the patch.  I will be installing it in the next couple of days.

The known autostart bug you're mentioning is probably the following one:
