Caller ID problem with PAP2T

Hello everyone,

I have a dual line phone that has one line connected to a VoIP service via a Linksys PAP2T and the other line connected to the local POTS.

For some reason when the phone is connected to both lines and a call is received, no caller ID information is displayed. However when one line is disconnected (doesn't matter which) then caller ID works on the other one perfectly.

Would really appreciate any insights.

Try to adjust regional parameters of the PAP. They must be equal to your POTS line (e.g. impedance, ring cadence, ring waveform, caller ID method).

Regards.

I don't think any of the ring settings are relevant since we're talking about a situation where only one line is ringning.

AFAIK only the impedance is relevant and I've tried changing it but the problem persists.

Is there any way to change the on-hook line voltage on the PAP2T?
