Hi,
I am configuring Cisco SPA family phones to work with my Broadsoft Broadworks Platform R16SP1.
For Contact directories, in spa504G, I am not seeing the option to do Broadsoft Directory lookups option in the phone's interface. I can see that the webinterface has fields to configure the values and is enabled.
The actual phone's interface hasnt got any option in DIR soft keys. Please advice if there is any special config to be done to see this look up option. BTW, I can do the same in 525G phone screen
Regards
Robert

Hi Robert,
I don't fully understand the question but will take a shot at it:
Looking at the first [SPA525G] photo you provide, it looks like Directory #2 is "Broadsoft Directory".
Either press the 2 button or use the 4-way navigation button to move to the Broadsoft Directory and press the Select soft key to use.
I'm guessing that your question is why you don't have a Broadsoft directory option in the SPA504 photograph.
Here's how to display the Broadsoft directory on a SPA50x/SPA303 phone:
Once the phone has pulled and loaded the provisioning file, it will reboot. Press the dir softkey and you should see "Bsoft Dir" as an option.

Patrick

Hi Patrick,
Thats great. I managed to get it . I had the tag
Thanks for that. Is there a maximum limit for the directory capacity. I had around 250 entries in my Broadworks enterprise directory. When I tried to do a wild card search, I got a message saying too many etires.
Hence the question on capacity

Robert,
The issue is that too many search hits are found for the phone to display. Try use a more specific search with a more targeted search wildcard.

Directory service wiht 525G works fine but SPA 509, 504 and 303 reboots itself whenever we try to search any users from Broadsoft directory. I have tested with firmware 7.4.9a and 7.4.9c along with R17sp2.
