Hello,
I have a 4 CP-9971 running on a UC540 system. Everything is wireless. Most of the phone act erratically, get stuck on registering or connecting, when there is a video call the image gets garbled and the phone freezes.
The network does not have more than 10 people in it.
Please help!!!

Fix wireless network or use wired.

Hello Paolo,
The wireless needs no fixing (I think). Because the phones work for a while in wireless and then just loose connection and get stuck on registering.

Hello Leonardo,
Do you have right antenna only in the wireless configuration?
Best regards,
Alex

Hello Alexander, the antenna is came with the UC540. The wireless network is working just fine with the PCs, tablets and printers.

Hello Jorge,
The CP-9971 are all within 5 meter from the UC540 in the same room. The SPPA525G are downstairs and work just fine.

Hello Leonardo,
How many wireless devices you have connected at the same time to the UC?
Best regards,
Alex

Hello Alexander,
I'd say 10 to 15 devices including PCs and Smart phones.

Hello Leonardo,
Please check if you have the following in the configuration of the wireless:
antenna receive right
antenna transmit right
If you do not have it under interface Dot11Radio0/5/0 please add it.
HTH,
Alex

What band is the 9971 connecting to? If it's 802.11b then force the phone to join 802.11a.

Hi Leo,
It would be great as this is not congested frequency usually but 802.11a is not supported on the UC540 wireless module only b/g.
Best regards,
Alex

802.11a is not supported on the UC540 wireless module only b/g.
Ooopsie. Me bad.
Ok, so it only supports 802.11b/g. Gonna have to get creative here.
Give us the "layout of the land". How many wireless clients and what is the distance of the FURTHEST wireless clients. Any walls? How far is the nearest wi-fi interferance.
I'm asking this because my next question would be what data rates are enabled on the UC540. There's a significant chance that you may need to disable 802.11 b/g data rates (11 Mbps and below) to make your wireless cell size smaller. When you make your cell size smaller, you get less co-channel interference but you also get higher wireless throughput.
