Hello,
I need to know where I can find the dial-by-first-name script for a UC520. I emailed the askcueeditor alias and they said to come to the forums. I have searched, but cannot find the script. Any help would be appreciated.

In order to use dial-by-first-name, you have two options that I am aware of. You can create a custom script in the CUE web interface. Which will allow you to dial by first name. Or, if you upgrade to the latest version of CCA (3.1.1) it includes a ........V.04 script that offers the dial-by-first-name.
Thank you,
Darren

Thanks guys. I tried implementing the script and DTMF stopped working. I am trying to track that issue down now.

Not sure what version of CCA, IOS, or CUE versions you have. But the latest version of CCA (3.1) will change the DTMF method from sip-notify to rtp-nte. Make sure you are using CCA 3.1.1, if using CCA, the fix for this is included in the newest version.
The other option would be to manually go into the dial-peers and change the DTMF type.
3 dial-peers. Voicemail, AutoAttendant, Prompt management.
dtmf-relay rtp-nte
Thank you,
Darren

Thanks Darren. That was the first parameter I changed. It was sip-notify. This was a UC that the CUE module crashed on and I had to do a manual reload. V3 works just fine, but V4 has the dtmf issue. I haven't tried to log back into it using CCA yet. I was hoping I could just fix it via the web GUI.
