I'd like to have multiple wireless phones (20+) and will have no need for the ethernet ports. Will the system and phone licensing be available without the 24 port switch attached? Thanks in advance.

Only if you need more than the 8 ports available on the UC520 unit. You can still use 24 phones with a wireless access point, and you are still licensed to use more than 8 wireless phones without the 24-port switch. However, most customers with a 24-user unit actually use more than the 8 ports on the UC520 unit, and will need to purchase at least one switch to use with the UC520 unit.

Hi Michael,
A 24 port switch with UC520-24U is not mandatory if your PCs and IP phones are wireless, since system and phone licensing is included with the UC520. That being said, for a completely wireless office you should take into consideration wireless AP design and factors like if you need to get a switch to extend the ethernet connection from UC520 to where the AP are located.
