hello,
i have a UC520 and had configured the fax to mail to work with Exchange 2010 before. now they upgraed to Office 365. i got the iformation needed from Office 365 site which are: external SMTP server:pod51013.outlook.com and port number: 587
when i send a test email it shows me "could not connect to SMTP host"
anyone can help in this.

You can test with ping or look at traces, but likely is a problem with server, firewall, etc. Not an UC500 problem.

yes i cannot ping or telnet the customer or microsoft mail smtp, but i am getting their IP name resolved and the mail is up and working. mostly Microsoft blicking the requests.
i should add that using imported Settings of Gmail i am geting "could not connect to SMTP hots" and i can ping smtp.gimail.com
