Need upgrading 508G Howto

Hi,

I have 5 SPA-508G IP phones.  I need to upgrade them to the latest firmware.  I'm in a windows free environment.  I have a couple of linux systems at my disposal. (ubuntu if it matters).  Anyway, I've searched and searched and can not find a simple guide to how to upgrade the phones firmware.  If someone could be so kind as to give me a nudge in the right direction, I would be very appreciative.

Hi Todd, I'm no Linux expert but you should be able to upgrade the phone with TFTP

Upload the spa firmware file to your Linux's TFTP server root directory.

Start the TFTPD service (shall be present by standard on any Linux)

Update the SPA's config in the Provisioning screen / section Firmware Upgrade

This should be able to pull down. Now, make sure the phone is on at least 7.5.2, if on earlier than 7.5.2 you can't upgrade to 7.5.4.
