Has anyone tried connecting a remote SPA525G (via SSL) to a UC540 that sits behind an SA500? The Technical enablement lab notes says at the bottom of the document that it is not supported.
Tried changing the remote management port of the SA500 (to 8081) and then did an SSL port forwarding on the SA500 of port 443 to my UC500, but no luck.
Thanks!
Pedro.

ON the SA500 Did a Port Forwarding rule of HHTPS service to my UC500, then changed on the SA500 the remote management port to other than 443 and all worked fine. The remote SPA525 connects to my UC500.
Don't know if there might be any security implications; supposedly, the UC500 SSL server ought to handle all of the inbound connections securely.

Hello Pedro,
This is because of the way SSL works an how it is translated over the NAT.
If you use one port on the device in front use the same on the UC for the SSL e.g. port 4443 on the SA and 4443 on the UC SSL gateway page.
HTH,
Alex
